Does it work with my MLS?
MarketPulse is built for MLS Matrix (NTREIS and compatible systems). If your team uses Matrix for searches, it works with your MLS. We're expanding to additional MLS platforms — reach out if you're on a different system.
My showing platform is IP-locked. Will this work?
Yes — that's exactly why MarketPulse is a desktop app, not a website. It runs on your coordinator's computer, so your showing platform sees their IP — the same one that's already whitelisted. No VPN, no workarounds needed.
Which showing platforms do you support?
We currently support BrokerBay and are actively adding ShowingTime, Centralized Showing Service (CSS), and others. If you use a different platform, reach out — we can likely add it.
Are my passwords safe?
Your MLS and showing platform credentials are encrypted using your operating system's secure storage (Windows DPAPI or macOS Keychain) and never leave your computer. They're never sent to our servers or anywhere else. The only network call MarketPulse makes to us is a license check — no credentials attached.
How does the AI photo analysis work?
MarketPulse sends listing photos to a vision AI model (via OpenRouter) that compares each comp's visual package against your subject property — kitchen style, flooring type, bathroom updates, color palette, and red flags like dated fixtures. You provide your own OpenRouter API key, so AI costs are transparent (~$0.50–$1.00 per report).
Can I edit the AI's descriptions before sending?
Absolutely. The review screen shows every comp with the AI's assessment and a text field for each description. Edit anything you want — or override the include/exclude decisions entirely. You always have final say.
What happens if I go over my included reports?
The app will let you know before running the report and show the per-report cost. You confirm, the report runs, and the overage is charged to the card on file. No surprises.
